When you think of Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, you think of Las Vegas. When you think of Caesar's Tahoe in Lake Tahoe, you used to think of Las Vegas - now you can think of blue Mountain sophistication. Completely remodeled and reopened under the name MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa, the location has enjoyed a $20 million renovation that began October 2005. The original property was opened up along the South Lake Tahoe strip in 1980 but was purchased in July 2005 and began transforming into a hip, trendy, mountain environment.
The obligatory 24-hour diner and coffee bar are just part of the seven restaurants and two nightclubs that are offered. While the spa won't be open until the end of summer, it promises to offer a great way to relax for the ladies while the guys are at the craps table.
