Craps is very simple to play but very hard to understand. Craps is played with two dice.
The game process
The game begins with a “Come out roll” by the “Shooter”. He wins if the roll is “Natural”. He’s a loser if he rolls “Craps” (2, 3, 12). If he rolls something else then it’s a “Point”. If you have a point then you have to roll once again to get another point and then a 7. BUT: if you roll a seven immediately after the first point then you lose.
The Betting
The most complicated thing in Craps is betting. These are the bets you can make in craps:
A. Pass Line Bet. The simplest bet in craps. When you make a pass line bet it means that you bet on the shooter.
Odds – 1:1
B. Don’t Pass Bet. This you bet the shooter will not win.
Odds - 1:1
C. Odds Bet. You don’t play against a casino. You just place an odd bet as an option.
Odds - 6:5 for 6; 3:2 for 5 and 9; 2:1 for 4 and 10.
D. Come Bet. The same as A. but you can make it after the point is established. So, when you make the next roll (come out roll) you win if it’s 7 or 11 and lose if it’s 2, 3 and 12. If you roll something else then your wager will be moved this something else.
Odds - 1:1
E.Don’t come Bet. The opposite of the Come Bet.
Odds - 1:1
F. Field Bet. You bet on the coming roll. You win if it’s 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 12 and lose if it’s 5, 6, 7, 8.
Odds - 2:1 for 2 and 12; 1:1 for 4, 9, 10 and 11
G. Place Bet. You bet on the number that will be before a 7.
Odds - 7:5 for 6 and 8; 7:5 for5 and 9; 9:5 for 10.
H. Buy Bet. The same as G, but you get the odds with a 5% charge if you win.
I. Big 6 and 8. You bet that exactly on 6 or 8 before 7
Odds - 1:1
J. Any Craps. You bet that that 2, 3 or 12 will be rolled.
Odds - 7:1
K. Hardways. You bet that the next roll will be double (2-2; 3-3; 4-4; 5-5).
Odds - 7:1 for 2-2 and 5-5; 9:1 for 3-3 and 4-4.
